Sarah Jane Cion, pianist, composer, author, has performed with jazz musician greats such as Clark Terry, Anita O’Day, Bucky Pizzarelli, Michael Brecker, and many more. 1st Place Winner of the Great American Jazz Piano Competition, Cion was featured on NPR Radio’s Piano Jazz with Marion McPartland. A finalist in the John Lennon Songwriting Contest her music appeared in the ABC soap All My Children, in Cinematic Universe’s Thor: Dark World and Clint Eastwood’s The Mule. Cion has brought her magic to New York’s finest jazz venues: The Blue Note, Iridium, Birdland and more. Her articles are published in Piano Today and the Steinway Library of Music. She graduated from New England Conservatory with honors in composition and performance.
