About The Author
Costi Gurgu is a European-born author of speculative fiction, known for merging Romanian mythos with cutting-edge science fiction. Raised on the shores of the Black Sea in Constanta and now based in Toronto, Canada, Gurgu has spent his life building stories that bridge cultures and challenge genre boundaries.
He made his literary debut in 1993 and has since won **26 writing awards**, publishing **over 50 stories** across two continents. His first novel, *Recipearium*, became a critical success and was published in North America in 2015.
The Corrosion Trilogy—**Green Corrosion**, **Pink Corrosion**, and now **Black Corrosion**—represents a masterwork of dystopian storytelling.
